This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our website at binflow.app, our mobile application, and our trash valet services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

1.3 Information from Third Parties
When you sign in using Google, Apple, or Microsoft authentication, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from the selected provider. We do not receive or store your password from these providers.

- Process your subscription and payments
- Optimize Valet routes for efficient service delivery
- Send service notifications (schedule confirmations, job status updates)

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

4. Payment Information
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Your credit card number and financial information are transmitted directly to Stripe's secure servers and are never stored on BinFlow's systems. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy (stripe.com/privacy). BinFlow retains only a reference to your Stripe customer ID for billing management purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon cancellation of your subscription:
- Account data is retained for 90 days in case you wish to reactivate.
- After 90 days, personal data is deleted or anonymized, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records for tax purposes, which are retained for 7 years).
- Waitlist and commercial inquiry data is retained until you request its deletion.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS on all connections)
- Firebase App Check with reCAPTCHA Enterprise for API protection
- Role-based access controls on all databases
- Secure authentication via Firebase Auth (OAuth 2.0)
- PII redaction in application logs
While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
BinFlow uses cookies and similar technologies for:
- Essential cookies: Required for authentication and session management (Firebase Auth).
- Analytics cookies: Used by Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. These collect anonymized usage data.
- Security cookies: Used by reCAPTCHA Enterprise to prevent automated abuse.
You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect the functionality of the Service.
8. Your Rights
8.1 All Users
Regardless of your location, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information through your account dashboard.
- Delete your account and associated data by contacting support@binflow.app.
- Withdraw consent for optional communications at any time.
8.2 California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Right to request deletion of your personal information.
- Right to opt out of the sale of personal information. BinFlow does not sell personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

8.3 Do Not Track
We honor Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals. When a DNT signal is detected, we limit analytics data collection to essential, anonymized metrics only.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@binflow.app and we will promptly delete such information.
10. Third-Party Links
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (Stripe billing portal, Google Maps, etc.). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
